580D Slow hydraulics to backhoe

My backhoe is digging slower than it use to.I replaced the hydraulic pump and it didn't help. The front loader is still good and quick and I replaced the fluid and the filter,So if anyone has an idea,I could use the help!!

On Case tractors with detachable backhoes the

quick connects wear due to vibration. Restricting oil flow to the backhoe valve.There are two between the hoe and the tractor. Just a thought.

Did you check the steering priority valve with a pressure guage? Could be you are loosing flow that that part of the circuit. There was a service buletin put out in 82-83 on how to check it so maybe someone still has a copy. I beleive the test was to bring the crowd cylinder to releif which should be about 2400-2500 psi and then reach back with the other hand and hold the steering wheel in a far left or far right turn and the pressure guage should read 2600-2800 psi.

If the first pressure is off, repalce the oring on the power beyond fitting in the loader control valve. Sorry, that's the first place to check.
