Hello Allen, --- 9 / June / 2003 ---

Your International McCormick Deering TD-6 (SERIAL NUMBER TDBK 1554) was made in 1940.
The engine was a #248(D) / 4 Cylinders.

Good luck and have fun with it.

Regards, Milton

if somebody has some free advise..i could use some.i'm trying to remove the left clutch..it's frozen up..,got the bearing cage cap loose and all the bolts out of the coupling retainer ring but can't seem to break it out from its position against the pinion bearing. is there something other than the lockwire and bolts to contend with?.thanks. i,ve loosened up the bolts on the track side thinking it may be bound up on the splined coupling but to no avail.

Alan, take the two halfmoon pieces out and then move the round spline piece they run in towards the track. This can be done by sticking a long big screwdriver in the groove and prying outward. You may also need to collapse the clutch with three homemade retainers to get it out. I know you will need them to get a new clutch back in.
