I'm getting oil in the radiator of a freind's Case 1150 dozer.

First thing is to figure out if it's engine oil or transmission oil. I don't know if that machine has a water to oil cooler for the transmission, but it should be easy enough to tell. If it's engine oil, the first thing to check is the oil cooler. You'll probably have to call around to find a shop that can pressure test it- if the local case shop doesn't have the setup, a cummins shop or a truck shop might. If I remember right, that dozer has a 5.9L engine (please correct me if I'm wrong). I did work on one of those once where a head gasket had blown between a coolant passage and an oil passage, so not only was it putting compression in the cooling system, but also engine oil... I only saw that happen once, so I don't think it's all that common. My guess would be the oil cooler.
