I don't know where you are, but are you sure there isn't ice in the cylinders? I bought a tractor that was 'siezed' in Minn, but when I got home and put the crank to it on a warm day, it turned easily and the water came out of the plug holes....(just lucky, I guess) I would hesitate to use the grease gun idea (the porta power would probably give you a better control over pressure, and be limited), since the pressures could rupture something in the head (also, make sure the cylinder you are working on is NOT at top or bottom dead center!). I have had luck with the wood block method(making sure you cut one to fit the cylinder hole, as the piston center is thin), and always soaked the rusted cylinders with a penetrant, PB blaster is good, WD40 not as lubrous. Diesel fuel works pretty well. The guy who said to warm up the water jacket with a steam cleaner has a good point, you could also just hook up an engine block heater, and leave it on for several hours. Watch over it, though, as those things aren't always fireproof. If you try turning the crank to loosen it, turn from both ends.
