I found a Farmall F-12 in a woods while I was walking the other night. I went back down to take a look at it last night and it is mostly complete except the seat which is lying about four feet away under some other metal. I walked a little farther and found a pair of fenders which turned out to go on the tractor, and a mounted cultivator. There was also one 3 row pull type plow (JD), two four row John Deere planters (with a double hitch to run them side by side), John Deere disc, drag harrow with wheels, OLD hay rake, a mulcher packer, rotary hoe (pull type), two bottom John Deere pull type plow, and a Model 60 Caterpillar crawler. What is the F-12 worth? How many were made with fenders? How hard is it to get parts for it. I will post some pictures in the next couple of days if I can get some. Thanks Adam Davis

I paid $300 for my '35 F12, complete but motor stuck. It didn't have a speck of paint on it when I brought it home and the tires were gone. I've spent lots of money on her and countless hours cleaning and sandblasting. Do I expect to ever get my money back? No way, but I do plan on having lots of fun with it going to shows and all.
I know mine was parked because the exhaust manifold had cracked and broken off and the farmer just moved on to other tractors he had in his barns. Post the pics if you can..

If anyone out there has information or knows where I can find a head gasket for an International 8-16, built in 1922, SN:14014, please contact me.

You can still find anything you need to make that tractor run, even if it is junk. However, the "what is it worth" question will bring you down to reality.

F12s are not expensive, even when restored. You might get your investment back, but it would be doubtful. Fun, heck yes. Rewarding, you bet. Money making, naw.

Cat 60? I'd make a deal on it if it is reasonably complete. These old Cat crawlers are much in demand by Cat collectors, buyers are around. The only problem you'll have with it is moving it.
