These exhaust valves are about to drive me insane. I got two loose but still have two stuck. The guides seem to be welded to the block. I have the mushroom stems so I think pretty much impossible to pull the valves out through the guides and then beat the guides down and out. Currently, I have pushed the valves up and compressed the springs. I have open end wrenches under the valves, on top of the block, holding them up and I periodicly spray the guides and holes with wd-40. Still stuck after jacking with them all weekend. Anyone got any ideas for miracle tool, or miracle lubricant to break these loose? As always, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chuck

Liquid wrench or LPS might help.

Also try Berryman's carb cleaner. It will cut a lot of varnish others won't. But if you are trying to save parts follow up with MMO or other oil as the Berryman's leaves a clean surface which will rust quickly.
