Has anybody solved spark plug fouling on 10-20, F-12 or F 20s ? I have the same trouble on all three as well as some of my buddies. All of the engines are in good condition with the carburators adjusted properly. The tractors are not idled around at shows or parades but are often used for genuine farm work. Any ideas??

I am not sure if you can get a different plug
for these tractors, Champion may be the only one that still makes them. I have an F-12 with champion W-14s in it that I restored in 1991.
It still has the plugs in it that I put in then
and have never fouled one. About all it does is idle around at the shows. Maybe your not using up
your gas fast enough, or you should try a different brand of gas.

Allan, There's been a lot of discussion on this topic
here over the last six months or so (maybe even
farther back). I had the same problem on both my
M and my A-C RC. Went from a D-17 Champion to a
d-21 Champion on the M and it seems to have gone
away. Some of the participants in the discussion
have switched to Autolite or AC plugs and their
problems have also disappeared. Several folks I
know have had similar experiences with the
Champion plugs. Maybe Champion is experiencing
some manufacturing problems. All I can say is
that if they don't solve their problems they will
lose a large number of customers very soon.

Thanks for the reply Phil, I'll try a different brand of plugs. Allan
