Several months ago I reported that I had found my grandaddy's old "H" sitting in an old farmer's shed. It's intact, rusty, and the motor was stuck. I squirted PB Blaster in the cylinders about 2 months ago and every weekend I've gone by there (haven't moved it yet) and tried to turn it over with the hand crank. Last weekend it broke loose with very little force on the handle and now turns freely. Yes, it's small progress, but you can imagine how I felt. Now I have to get those old rims off and new ones on so I can move it. One step at a time. BTW, thanks to Andy Martin's specs, I've gotten the anti-slip cleats welded on the new rims and I'm working on getting them painted.

The best news is that it was not stuck due to water in the cylinders, either from exhaust leak or head gasket.

Use MMO in the gas to help free the rings when you get it started.

That is progress and congratulations on getting it unstuck. Probably only 1 or 2 pistons were slightly stuck.

Thats gotta be a good feeling, hope to be up to that task someday (taking on a non-running project).

Must also be good to find a tractor with some personal history. My Dad would like to find the 43 M that he grew up with/on. Would be a great feeling to find something and recognize it after all these years.
