Well, I’m slowly attempting to restore a 1949 Farmall Super A, and the following parts are broken, missing, or just need to be replaced. We want to make this a show tractor, and mow the yard. So if anyone can sell us the following parts, reply here or email me. Minor defects may be able to be overlooked, but possibly not.

-Gearshift knob: Missing
-PTO lever knob: Missing
-Small, one gallon starter gas tank: Missing
-Sheet metal cover for the pedals: Broken
-Seat: Torn
-Steering wheel: Rubber is coming off in spots, needs replacing
-The shutters behind the radiator: Missing

When I say ‘Sheet metal cover for the pedals’, I mean the sheet metal cover that covers the bottom parts of the pedals, where they pivot and the grease gun fittings are.

Those shutters will be the hardest thing to find. My 1948 had the distillate equipment and all of it had been removed over the years. I have kept on until I've accumulated all those parts except the manifold heat shield. *My gas tank had holes but I got someone to fix it, not too noticable since it'll be under the hood. Planning on putting it all together this winter. The linkage to the shutters has been bent, but I think I can figure that out myself. You can get a sed. bowl aftermarket with the two inlets and one outlet, but will have to add some adapters--it is for smaller lines like on a AC WD.

Email me direct if I can help.
