I am looking at an IH 3514 industrial, to buy. The only drawback I can find with the thing is nobody has any idea what it is, or how to cross reference it, to know if parts are available or not. I havent bought it yet, but I definately wont if I cant get parts later for it. At this point i dont know what all it might need, but i am not going to get it if parts aren't readily available. So, my question is, "WHY DOESNT ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT". Every parts dealer I have checked with, has no mention of this model in the books, exept for the drive clutch. They have told me if I can determine what farm tractor it is based on it should be no problem to get parts for. But I can find this either. Any help would be sooooo ooo appreciated.

My 72 year old friend has a 2504 forklift that is gas and I swear it burns more oil than it dose gas, but runs fairly well. Don't oil smoke release carcinogens that can cause cancer? If so, I am well on my way to cancer. Had never heard of a 3514, but also never heard of a 2504 either until I drove it. Oh Well. Boy, with his ground pointed straight pipe, swear I've started to hear less of what people say. Fun To Drive !! guess I've ratteled on enough...

Does this 3514 industrial have shuttle shift type transmission? If it does.... and if you use it hard, its usually in for repair. The #3 i believe is only telling me something about the transmission its using or the drive clutch as you mention something about that before? What size motor?Year?Built in the mid to late 60's am guessing?Does this have hitch on back or just flat housing cover?Does this have a front end loader?with a large 6'6" to 7 ft wide front bucket,or a 18 foot backhoe?cast iron grille?I need a little more information and then i will try to cross reference it for you.I use to own a lot of international industrial series 3414,2424,2444,2414 tractors .

wouldn't that be in the same family as the 504 and 544. It use the same motors whether gas or diesel.

Not a model that was strictly based off a farm tractor, although there should be many common parts. Your local Komatsu dealer would be the one to ask.
