Rear axle drive housing for cub.

We have a 1948 farmall cub tractor we were wondering were the fill plugs for the rear axle drive housings are located.

They are locted about 2 inches above the axle pans on the inside of the tractor. They have a recessed square head opening. One is toward the front of the final drive, the other side is toward the rear. If you can't see them, scrap off the grease and dirt. They are there.

As I recall, you'll probably have to move the drawbar out of the way to get to the one on the left. Just use a 1/2" ratchet drive to loosen it.

Can you give me any imformation on changing the rear axle seals on a IH cub?leaking pretty bad.
