I have decided that this is the machine for me. Only problem is, what are they worth? A good, running, strong 660.

I bought one at a sale for 1400.00 and it was running with good tin. I had to replace the back tires. You have to look in parts of the country that standard were use in high numbers, like the wheat belt.

Sold one complete with good tin this fall. Engine was stuck. Sold for $750. There were only a little over 7000 of these made - definitaly a future collector's dream! RARE!! The F-14 is considered collectable and there were over 30,000 of those made!

A couple words of advice: Expect to find a cracked head, even when they ran good they probably had a crack somewhere in the head. Also, if you overhaul be very sure to check the block deck and the head for straightness. Dad put 5 headgaskets in his 560 one year because the head was slightly warped.

My opinion on what it is worth: Good running condition 660 diesel should be worth around $3500 to $5000 depending on where you are from. Expect to pay more for a 660 gas as they are the rarest. (Here they are worth about $350 not running and under $1000 running)
