The secret to a good riding hydraulic seat is to get a spring matched to your weight there were 3 different springs offered at one time but I think most you get now are the heveist ones.

The bent tube type with small tool box will be easier to get on and off the tractor...

The hydraulic type with the spring and shock absorber will be much more forgiving on a work tractor or if you plan to drive through any rough areas...

I have 2 hydraulic seats on tractors I'm restoring Although they may be more comfortable I spent many years on the curved post type. I now have arthritis and find it easier to climb on the type with the curved post and small tool box underneath.
P.S. I've been looking for one of the tube type to trade out for one that I have.
