I have a 230 with the 3pt conversion prongs. Will a 3pt disc work on that tractor? I can't find a 2pt disc. The reason I ask is 27" between pts on tractor 31" I have measured on 3pt equipment. What do I need to make it work? I want to make sure I can use it before I buy one. Thanks Gary.

My dad had a 200. We pulled a drag harrow and hooked a 3-point hitch harrow at times. The only addaptor that would work on the 200 was the one piece clasp hitch described earlier. If you send me an email, I can send you a picture of what you will need. I have seen a few of these hitches for sale on eBay.

Gary, The place I have had considerable success with in finding 2 point fast hitch equipment is a free ad in the Harvester Highlights quarterly magazine. It is the official publication of the International Harvester Collectors association. There are four chapters in your huge state. Membership to the national organization is $15 per year. The one probably in your region is Chapter #16 for Western Pennsylvania. I've also placed a couple ads in the Red Power Magazine and they are quite inexpensive if you are familiar with the magazine. Another place you are going to have the opportunity to see a lot of 2 point implements for sale will be at the 2007 Red Power Round-up (RPRU) in Bloomsburg, PA which will be held June 21st thru June 23rd this summer. I would suggest going a day or two earlier if you are looking to buy some equipment. At last years RPRU in Mansfield, Ohio there was a lot of 2 point implements for sale. Send me an email and I can provide some contact information of some folks in Pennsylvania who can probably help you locate some fast hitch equipment in your state. Hope this helps in your search, Hal.

Gary, just my 2 cents on a 3 pt disc - They're nice to pick up & go, but if your're planning on using it, you can't turn the tractor with it down at the end of the field. I always liked the old drag type for smoothing out a lot, they just do a better job.

I agree with Farmall Hal fast hitch implements are available if one looks. I ran a ad on YT classifieds and found a disk, plow, field cultivator and grader blade almost immediately. And nothing compares to the fasthitch for tractor seat adjustment of mounted implements. Of coarse I am prejiduce when it comes to original equipment. Those fasthitch corn planters are getting high priced.

Gary, on most 3pt discs you can put the pins in from the inside of the A frame and make them work. Just have to put the adapters on the disc, then hook up to tractor.

Gary, first of all I'm a real fan of the 2 point fast hitch and I wouldn't consider trying to use a 3 point implement with a fast hitch tractor. There are many special features on a 2 point system that the 3 point even in new current production tractors don't duplicate. Second, a disc which was designed for your tractor is really one of the easy implements to locate. Don't know where you are located but those Super C, 200 and 230 model tractors are very common in the small farm areas of this country. Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Carolinas, etc. seeme to be a hot bed for them. I'm sure you can locate a 2 point fast hitch disc with a little effort and searching around. Put an ad in the classifieds and you might have several to pick from unless you just want a 3 point for using with other tractors as well. Good luck in finding what you need, Hal.

Gary, Can't tell you who made them but I picked up a set that were hinged for Cat1 and 2 . Had a drop in pin to lock the hinged part solid,

Thanks Hugh. I thought 3pt equipment had a standard width I'll look around see what I can find. I'll post when I find one. Need one to work my deer plot.

Gary: Just make sure the disk you buy is right width for the 3 point adaptor. One has to fit inside the other. you'll probably have to bolt the two together with grade 8 bolts rather than 3 point pins. You'll also need an adjustable link on top to make front and rear disk gangs cut same depth.
