What was the stop for the front wheels on an H with the narrow front when they're turned to the right or left to keep them from turning out of the worm in the gear box?

Cat Guy: One of the 4 bolts that holds pedestal in place has an extended head. I've forgotten which one but on bottom side of bolster there is a groove in casting, with stops to match one of those 4 bolts. I hope I've made myself clear.

Punch below for a shot of the special stop bolt on a Super H. I'm certain on the H it's the same.

The bolt goes on the right front corner of the pivot shaft flange. The extended bolt head fits inside a half-moon shaped slot in the underside of the fixed bolster.

Bob,

I just finished looking through your posted albums and printed off several pictures that will help me when I start work on my H. Steering, wiring, etc. Thanks for taking the time to take these pictures, and for posting them for all to access. If more folks did this as they made various repairs, it would sure be a real help to us rookies. The quality of the pictures is excellent, and as they say....One picture is worth a thousand words.

Thanks again for your contribution to the IH community.

Thanks for your kind words Doug!

I've learned much from others on this forum - it's nice to be able "give a little back".
