Does someone have dimensions or have a resource to check on whether the Farmall row-crop 340 and Farmall 504 utility measure the same for a 2001 loader? I know I am comparing apples to oranges/row-crop to utility but it would be "cool" if the measurements are identical. Yup, just like the foggy weather, I"m clueless in SW Wisconsin. Thanks in advance.

Can't help you with the dimensions you request. However the operator's manual and parts book show different front and rear mounts for F-340 and I-504 ( the utility model 504)

Al: I expect the 504 Utility is about 4" longer between axle housing and grill. My reasoning both 340 Farmall and Utility are same length from axle housings to grill. The same will be true of 504. The differences in bolsters may make a difference.

Now, when it gets down to 2001 loader mounting, it could interchange or be a very easy fabrication. I had a 2000 loader and when new it was on 656F, we cut 6" out of frame both sides back by rear axle for mounting on 504F. (Just 2 cylinders shorter) 4 years later we welded the 6" pieces back in place and installed loader on 560F.
