Stuck rings on farmall A

It has good oil preasure and starts and runs really good but smokes alittle blue. What is a good way to free the rings? Sea foam,atf

As rusty says but if you still want to try something that is cheap and will either work or will not help just fill the cylinders with tranny fluid and let it sit a day or 2. Then turn it over the clear the cylinders and give it a try. If its stuck rings the tranny fluid will probably do the trick and it will cost you less then $5

You need a compression test as that will tell you a lot remembering it is not what it reads but more important the have all cycls read close. This will tell you that there is not a bad cucl but they could all be weak.

It is reasonable to try ATF then Sea Foam to attempt the improvement of the oil consumption, I (however) agree with Rusty, unless there is reason to believe it has stuck rings, it probably has Mega hours. New parts help that problem. Good luck, JimN
