Valve Clearance On WD6

just got the head back from the shop with all the cracks plugged and have it to the point where I need the set the valve clearances. Could someone show me how to do this and what they should be set to. Thanks A lot.

You can adjust valves 1,2,3 & 5 when No1 piston is at TDC, then adjust valves 4,6,7 & 8 when No4 piston is at TDC. That's counting from the radiator to the back. Hal

Hi Tom, According to my service manual, there set at .017 hot. When you set these up the first time, I would recommend setting them to .020 cold. They should be close when engine is at normal operation temp. The firing order is 1,3,4,2. Turn the engine over to top dead center of the compression stroke for each cylinder to set.
