Finally got my regular home and I have a question. Was there a brake lever on the right side or not? I don't see a place where the lever would have hooked to the shaft that goes out to the brake assembly. There is one on the left side.

Dan,One brake lever,I'm sure you have a multi disc clutch and if all is right that is all of the brake you need with steel wheels.I think the hand brake is for holding a load and parking.I was plowing with mine and hit a rock break, front of tractor slid into the fur and I didnt know if I would ever get it straighten out.Tractors have come a long ways

The regular brake system is sorta convoluted. It has a "hand operated" lever on the left side to apply the brake on the left wheel only. Then, there are cables that are hooked to the left and right side on the rear. The cables hook to a lever on the front wheel assembly. So, if you turn right, the right cable applies the brake on the right side and vica versa.
