I am replacing the front crank seal and need to remove pulley. What is the best way to remove. Can you add heat to the pulley?

Thanks,
Mark

Make sure you do not pull against the pulley flanges. They will not take the strain necessary for removal of the pulley without breaking. Use a backing plate that contacts further down onto the pulley back. A bearing separator works well.

You can get the 3/4 allthread at Home Depot. Get a 36" piece and cut it into 2 equal lengths. They have the washers and nuts too. Hal

You probably need to have a puller made or make it yourself like this one BigDog made for his Cub
using a bottle hydraulic jack or ram. Hal
