Fast Hitch Pilot Guide

For the cylinder cable I hope you have the original cylinder because the end attaches to a stud that screws into the cylinder. The other end attaches to the extension on the cylinder pin. The cylinder stop rod is located on the opposite side.

Most folks don't realize this but IH had the very best mounted plowing machine built prior to 1963 in the fast hitch plow on Super C and 200. Not only did it have hydraulically controlled depth change on the go but it also hydraulically controlled side tilt with could be changed on the go by hydraulics.

I had on my farm, at least one new tractor from every series, letter series through to 66 series. My 30-50 series was and still is a Farmall 130. Hydrauilc depth change for plowing on the go, all the way from 9" deep to out of the ground. 49 years and trouble free all those years. I know of 200s, 300s and 400s with same trouble free hitch reputation as it applies to plowing. Most of those 30-50 and 40-60 automatic draft controlled hitches were major trouble before they were 10 years old. In fact I cut my 560 fast hitch up for scrap before the tractor was 10 years old.
