Hey everbody-
I've got a '69 154 that had been modified to accept a 185 clutch (up on the flywheel)with the electric PTO. The clutch operated fine for the last 25 years or so but after replacing the disc, I can't get the clutch to release. When I [press down on the cluch it contacts and depresses the clutch fingers but not enough to disengage (.015-.020" reqired between pressure plate and disc)Further adjustments of the rod just push the throw out bearing hard up on the fingers so that won't work. I have noticed a bit of play in the lever brackets and pivot pins but I don't know if it's enough to be a problem. I'm thinking that the disc old disc was worn enough to allow for a lack of clutch pedal throw but now with the new disc I may need to modify the point on the pedal assy where the clutch rod connects in order to gain more leverage.
Has anybody else got a similar set up or had similar problems?

Thanks-AC
