"Am I correct in that to make the light 12v is put a 12v bulb in?" Yup! "Where is the power supposed to come into the light?" The red-white selector switch will have 3 terminals. Power from the main light switch goes to the selector switch common terminal. The red and white light feed wires connect to the other two switch terminals (doesn't matter which wire goes to each terminal...) "Where would I go about getting a new one?" Unless you are a stickler for originality a single pole double throw toggle switch (a couple bucks at Radio Shack) works fine. "How does the light mount to a SMTA? MD? the OEM book has it coming through the battery box on a pipe..." My SM has it mounted on a stub of bar stock bolted to the side of the battery box. I don't know if it's original or a modification by the previous owner.... "Could a tractor have sealed beams on front and regular bulbs in back?" I believe that's how the seal beam-equipped tractors came from the factory.
