I told someone I knew how to make it rain. There is nothing to it. The boy's had about 75 acres of hay cut, and it has rained since about 1:30 AM. We were needing a little shower and was glad to get it.

Best way I know is to tear the roof off your house for replacement. It will rain for weeks on end!

There are several ways to make it rain:
1. Leave the windows or sunroof open on the new pickup overnight.
2. Wash all vehicles/tractors on the farm.
3. Cut your best alfalfa hay field.
4. Remove a window on the house to be replaced, cover with plastic for the night.
5. Leave truck full of wheat/fertilizer/etc. out untarped.

I should have started mowing a month ago if I knew it would make it rain. We may have half of a hay crop here. I have some fields that will not be mowed this spring. Nothing there and when coupled with the high cost of fuel, it makes it look even worse. Hope to get some off of them this fall. It is so dry here that we can't get garden seeds to germinate. Gonna start replanting today.

It wasn't real dry here, but we did need a little shot. Some of our hay isn't to good this time either. The wheat is a total loss on most places. We mowed some of the worst as I knew it would rain on it this early here, but you have to start somewhere. My old cows will eat it. A neighbor always claimed all it had to do was make a turd and push one out.

Alot of times, anything is better than a snowball! Problem is that there isn't anything in some of my fields, fertilized or not.
