Farmall H Coolant flow question?

I am beginning to reassemble my Farmall H, now that my gasket set has arrived. Unfortunately, I have forgotten one minute detail---should the access panel on the left hand side of the block deflect the coolant upwards or downwards? The coolant is forced into this part of the block by the water pump, and the access panel has louvres to direct the flow, but I have forgotten which way it was when it came off. I really appreciate anyone's help. Thanks!

Aaron

If I remember correctly the bolt holes only line up one way... and every one that I have seen has "TOP" stamped in it.

You are talking over my head here. There is no access pannel on the left side of this block that keeps water in! Are you speaking of the cover where you access the lifters?

You better look again. If it hasn't ever been replaced, the inside is rotten. Lifter cover is on the right side.

If you looked at some of the things I have done, you would think you were Einstein.
