And he is also being "his-self" again. Spewing knowledge and information like always. Me thinks Bob just hasn"t read enough of the Canadians posts to understand him. I have read posts and seen his "...far stretch" comments before. I often think "far stretch" refers to reaching for the syrup bottle, coffee cup, wall outlet, but you know those Canadians...I spent a lllll lllong time searchin" and found the suspendered, baggy-shorts, alleged Oliver head-gear wearin", much younger then, Hugh standing behind a smilin" wife; pickup parked in the roadway, just off a bend w/double yellow lines photo the other day. Hugh "was a flurtin" with a female on this board a couple days back, chatin" about pushing dirt and "litter" and out came the details I needed for the archives search. I can"t really say it was worth the effort. Just my humble opinion!

third party image

Well, my curiosity was up so I had to go find it. Not as bad as I imagined!. The "bee's knees" probably wouldn't be appropariate, but I assume thats his long suffering wife with him. Now I will have to post a picture of Farmallhal being shocked at my purchase of another junker farmall.

Gary: The copy of this photo that ended up in my e mail had a caption telling Sharon to take the photo of the damn tractor. I gather Hal is just trying to hide his face.

Hugh don't flirt with them females...he doesn't have to! He already has my heart!

He is a good man....and don't be takin' what I just said the wrong way...

...although it might give you more to play with if yer in the mood to tease him!

Why hasn't the photo been republished in this post?

Because I am making everyone that is interested, as I was, look for it themselves. A little detective work-the clues are in Hugh"s posting-w/a cup or two of coffee is good elbow exercise.

Now ya got it. Hal wouldn't even be seen in the same photo with the tractor. You would not believe how beautiful his tractors are. Pristine is the only word I can think of. Not so with mine.

I'd like to see that. Don't get me wrong though, fella's, I enjoy a story too every now and then. I guess maybe I did overreact a little, just kinda hit me on the wrong day, I suppose. Nevertheless I'm gonna lay low the next couple days as to not ruffle any more feathers. Well, sort of. I gotta go out of town for a wedding and won't be able to get to a computer. Do Canadian's celebrate Memorial Day? If so I hope Hugh (and everyone else) has a good one. Fire up that BBQ and ice down them coolers, summer is finally here!

Bob: We had a long weekend last weekend, I guess they still call it Victoria Day. I think most folks in Canada call it open up the cottage weekend and depending on location it is human flesh as food for black flies or mosquitos. Anywhere within 100 miles of the border, either side, they celebrate both weekends. It gives Americans an excuse to come over here and party 3rd weekend in May, then Canadians go over for the US festivities the very next weekend. We do the same thing on July 1st, Canada Day and your July 4th. Living this close to the border you can't celebrate without letting the neighbors in on the party.

Now, I don't know how to deal with Al, he thinks of me as living up north with ice, igloos, etc. If I could just get him to look at a map and find the entire state of Wisconsin is north of Strathroy Ontario. He's been poking fun at the idea of me wearing shorts for about 3 years now. I gather from his post, he was a bit disappointed when he finally found the photo. I suppose the photo probably didn't convince him as it was taken near Rochester NY.

Shorts and a swinging drawbar?

My image of Hugh is forever tarnished.

I gotta go crawl on a rank bronc and see if I can somehow get that picture permantely removed from my brain. :>)

Allen, if that bronc is rank enough it may remove lots of stuff from your brain.

UH,,, would that be a short swingin' drawbar, or the later lengthened version? Maybe it's time for me to get out to the shop!!!
