I would STRONGLY suggest you give youself an advance birthday present, and buy an owner's and shop manual NOW, or else find someone in your locality who is familiar with these tractors and allow yourself to be guided by their advice.

Of course, you will get excellent advice here; but the potential for confusion over the internet is very real.

Frankly, the odds of messing something EXPENSIVE up by going in blind without the correct operating and shop instructions are fairly good with such exotic machinery; and I've never understood why people will pay a thousand or two for a tractor and balk at sixty dollars for a set of manuals, especially since sixty dollars spent will GREATLY reduce the need to spend hundreds of dollars down the line.
