Well,

I wanted smoke, I found smoke. That old rat better pull a four bottom plow now 'er I'm tradin' it for a green version. :>)

Kicked 'er way up there and pushed that torque rise right up against the edge.

Just as soon as I get the hay off that field, we're gonna hook the buckaroo to that plow and find out if the old heifer will pull or not. :>)

I just couldn't figure out why I NEVER, EVER saw any indication of smoke. I know they run clean, but ee-gads! I always was taught that they should have at least a light grey tint when the throttle is pulled.

Well, there's no doubt about it now; she's got smoke when I crack 'er. (Might even have to go back in there and squeeze 'er back down just a little) :>(

What? c'mon Allen, what would you back it down for. You want the dirt flyin' off the moldboards like the snow flies off the plow trucks. Less discin that way. LOL doug

I shouldn't have to disc any more plowed ground on this place. All the sod has been flipped.

I'll be working on an old alfalfa field this time, so it should pack right down pretty nice.

When ya first nail the throttel on them even new they gave a puff of black . when they first came out they realy were gutless and the dealers tweeked them some tweeked them more then others . Now if that pump was set by some youngster by the old book then yea she was a dog. eugene's is set real nice , most of the time we just run her at PTo but if ya realy need somemore then just bump the throttel as i have the high end set close to the 3000 mark on my tach . And there is a lot more threads showen on the screw .
