Gary: My appologies, I mis read your post. I didn't think it seemed like you, to post upthread from me, especially if you were acusing me of talking to myself. I might have known you'd hit me head on.

Gary: Interesting approach, cowardly but interesting.

Actually I was away most of yesterday, came home this morning. Thinking there may be some exciting discussion on this forum, I decided to got to the computer. Bored, yes as what did I find but a page full of threads, most of which should have went to the photo gallery or photo adds.

Correction, if I recall Kim's wording on galleries and adds are a place to show of sell your tractor. It would seem to me if it's not your tractor, one at least gives credit to the owner.

jonnnny: I don't go to shows with my tractors either. I don't mind folks posting photos of my tractors, but they best damn well say it is my tractor.

I suspect if your acquaintence doesn't go to shows or want his identity revealed, he probably doesn't want the photos made public either. Common courtesy around here, you either post a photo of your tractor, or you give credit to the owner. I have thousands of other folks tractor photos on file in my computer. Common courtesy tells me those are for my use only, and publishing them in anyway is an infringement of the owners copy right.

I guess you just don't catch on, YT has three basic categories; discussion forums, classifieds both photo and other and the photo gallery for photos of various classes of farm equipment. at least one of your threads last night was a add for selling a tractor, and Kim forbids that on discussion forums. No one is going to complain about the folks that use a photo for checking out problems. Photos are often worth a 1,000 words. What you were doing last evening is posting photo gallery material in discussion forums, thus forcing some individuals question for discussion deep into page 3. That alone tells me you are a very selfish individual. My guess is you'll be gone in 3 months, we've seen your kind before.

Hugh, It seems you think Gary thought you were bored but he means Jonny (I had to re-read it myself to get his meaning)

Ed: Thanks for the heads up on that one. When I read it this morning, couldn't really believe Gary would hit me with that approach. He's quite a straight forward guy, if he disagrees with you he hits you head on, no beating around the bush.

My wife and I were at a family gathering yesterday, all the festivities must be too hard on this old carcass.

Thats alright Hugh.

I read posts out of context myself.

I should have put a comma after your name and you would have got it.

Gary

Gary: The first item that surprised me, was you didn't respond to my post. However as soon as Ed suggested I read it again, I clearly saw what you were up to. I guess the whole effort was a waste of time, it went right over Jonnnny's head.

I've never been against folks including photos with a post to make a point. We all know photos are worth a thousand words. Most of what jonnnny is posting is nothing more than photo gallery material. What his weekend actions have done, is pushed many quite important questions on discussion forum, all the way to page 6. Now come Mon. morning and many of the regulars back, many of those questions will be missed and go unanswered.

I responded as soon as I saw it.

I'm not on much during the day. Just morning and evenings.

Gary
