I have a "42 farmall H dual fuel, but at the time of purchase it did not have the auxiliary tank. I have since purchased a auxiliary starting tank, but cannot find a picture showing how the fuel lines should be run. The auxiliary tank came with a sediment bowel setup from a working dual fuel tractor. If anyone can give me pictures, drawings, sketches, or just a very good written description of how these dual tanks fuel lines are suppose to be run that would be great. Just putting the old girl back to as original as I possibly can...Half the fun is the research...Thanks to all that reply

There is a fairly godd drawing og fuel lines for M in Case/Ih online parts catalog but have not seen one for H, think they are same as M. The very early tractors had sediment bowl under small tank but think that was for 1939 and maybe some 1940s.

I just uploaded a picture of my starting tank lines into parts and peices you can go over there and see how it was set up on my H this is the most common config although they were configured with the sediment bowl on the starting tank for a year or two early in production.

One of the sediment bowl assemblies need to have a fitting for fuel to come from the other tank. I have a 40 and a 43, One is connected from the little tank through the big tank and the other one is routed from the large tank through the little tank. Take your pick?

An original or reproduction Farmall H parts catalog will have a pretty good diagram. It would be far better than any description I could give.
