Super Cubs were only built in France, but NOT all French built Cubs are Super Cubs. Mike S., a close friend of Bermuda Ken, bought one in Europe and shipped it to his home in Wisconsin a few years ago. He also owns an FV265 (in the model designation the V does not indicate high crop but vineyard).
The seat support of the Super Cub was different and a foot throttle was added. There may be a few more differences which I cannot remember. Serial numbers start with FSSCUB. HTH. Hendrik from The Netherlands

jonnny: If you go to a site called Les Tracteurs Rouges, you will find all the specs on European built IH tractors. Don't be surprised when you find they were still using letter series sheet metal well into the mid 60s.

The Austrailian built Farmall tractors are very similar to the British built versions, however there were Farmall tractors built in Austrailia using M chassis, operators platform, steering shaft along the top with an M fuel tank and 460-560 front sheet metal. There are a few photos of these in the YT photo gallery.

The French built a C diesel in several configurations including a utility version. I think you'll find this European site interesting.

Are you comparing the numbered series Cubs with the standard Cub?

Locally the prices are almost identical. The numbered series, just a bit higher.
