My son recently got his Great Grandfather's '38 F-20 from my brother. Brother ahd replaced the head, and we have run it for a while. What I am wondering after reading your forumis should we re-torque the head? It runs pretty good and we spent most of a day plowing with it this spring.
One other thing, where can we get needle valves for the carburetor. Ours are worn bad and it will not adjust like it should.

I don't know the exact torque for a 20 but since was kid we always set at 80 foot pounds. You can get manual from IBT manuals that will have the torque, also your local IH dealer can give this to you. The needle and seats can be gotten through Restoration Supply Co Hopedale, Ma. 01747 Phone 508-634-6915.
