My neighbor has a 350 Utillity and looks identical to my 300 Utility. What are the differences? Does it have a bigger engine?
Just curious.

You guys seem to have all the differences covered, except for one minor one that i have noticed: The clutch pedals are different on the two tractors, on the 300 the pedal hooks directly to the throw-out shaft. On the 350, the pedal loops backwards like the brake ones do, and then there is linkage that connects it to the throw-out shaft.

Randy, the 300 and 350 are really Identical tractors. The block is the same the 300U has 3 9/16 bore and the 350 has thinner sleeves with 3 5/8 bore. The optional 2 point was changed for the 350 to include traction control. The 2 point lift cylinder is in a different location. Any part for a 350 will fit the 300.

The 350 had better placement of the hydraulic valves and I think had larger tires. The 2 pt hitch had traction control also.

Easiest way to spot the difference is the steering wheel. The 300U has bare steel spokes, while the 350U has (plastic?) covered spokes.

I did finally get my 300U back together yesterday and fired it up. My danged power steering didn't work. I was thinking maybe I managed to hook the hoses up backwards, but that wasn't it. I think I just have some air in the system. Next non-rainy day I'm gonna back it outa the garage and disconnect the drag links so I can bleed the air out of it. And I didn't replace my drag link ends. By the time it started going back together, I had some unforeseen bills come in, so I'll probably wait a few months to replace the drag link ends.

Basically the same tractor, but a few differences. The 300U was built in '55-'56, and the 350U in '57-'58 and had more options such as diesel and LPG engines available, and some other chasis variations such as Wheatlands and high-clearance versions. Traction control was also available in the 350U, and they added some white to the paint scheme. The gas engines are almost the same, but the piston diameter was increased in the 350U to 175 cubic inches, versus 169 in the 300U.
