They were available factory or field from about 1949 through the 1950s. They used a taller spindle. They also used extension hubs on the rear to make them wider. It's really a high-wide package.

There's a fellow shutting down his truck farm south of Seattle that has several for sale. In addition to the axle extensions you need a cross-brace between the final drive housings if you are going to mount anything heavy like a spray rig. The fellow at this truck farm told me they would break axle housings with those extensions if they weren't braced. He also had this one that had the larger rims but no extensions.

Notice this one is set up with a spray rig. It has the cross brace underneath to keep it from breaking the axle housing. These tractors were all in use as of last year. I had a great visit with the father of the fellow that ran the farm. The father was an 80 year old Japanese fellow that had a ton of vegetable farming history.
