Just wondering if anyone here has purchased used parts from Detwiler Equipment? How was your experience? I purchased a Farmall A cylinder head 2 weeks ago and they said it shipped and my credit card was charged. I have been calling and e-mailing and receiving the same answer "i'll check with the shipping department". This has been going on for 2 weeks now! They can't even get me a UPS Tracking number, (geez, I wonder why!) Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience there.

been trying to deal with them since june 30th 2002.tim detwiler sells parts, collects money, but wont send parts.his wife screens his calls for him so you can never talk to him.would love to catch him behind the woodshed.dont recommend him as a business man at all, rather a cheat.

I tried to buy a part from Detwiler about 9 months ago and have a THICK file on the dealing. Got BS, BS, BS from them as to why they hadn't shipped. Paid by credit card (thankfully) and had to go thru them (the credit card company) to get my money back or actually the charges removed. The final reason that I got from Detwiler for their not shipping the part that I had paid in full for was my attitude wasn't good enough for them to sell me anything. This was after about 2 months of their BS. I surely wouldn't recommend them to anyone as far as internet purchases. They may be OK in the town where they are or over the counter but a good place to stay away from on the net.

What is the URL for their web site? I have a bookmark for folks that I know are bad to deal with. Thanks
