Do any of ya'all know if an M&W hand clutch off an H will work on a M??? I've spotted a salvage tractor (an H) with one on it and I was wondering if it would work on my M. Also, what would you offer for one? I don't want to try and steal it, but I don't know if its still good or anything else. Thanks.

Larry, I'm looking for a hand clutch that will fit an H...if you think that one is in good shape or atleast rebuildable, let me know. I'm having a hard time finding one. thanks

M will not fit on H.
You may want to pick up the H part though.
H hand clutches are getting a little harder to come by.Some one around here might want it.

I had called and talked to the parts guy at M&W. You can still buy the clutch disks for the M but canot buy the disks for the H. I have found a couple of companys that make and sell gear face clutch disks. So far I have not had luck getting them to respond to me. I think they only sell to big companys.

If any one needs a manual for the M&W clutch. I have it posted to my web site.

They definitely will not interchange. Everything for a M is bigger.

Hmmmm, Larry, I am not 100% here but a friend of mine has an M/W clutch assembly in a box that was on his H at one time and was taken off. He plans to put it back on to restore his H. The left side brake comes off and the shaft(Differential shaft) is changed with the M&W components..the size of that shaft is where I am hung up..an H and an M the same???..I doubt it..as to its value there are a series of plates in the assembly and if they are worn, rusted or somehow damaged I wouldn't want to invest a lot in it unless I knew it would work satisfactorily...I understand there is a supplier of these discs and components but it could get real expensive if it isn't already in decent shape. I have probably raised more questions and answered few but these are considerations for you to make..good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
