I have posted, asking for information on this subject before....I got "opinions" ....I want use ful information, places to buy books and ideas and guys that have experance doing this..... I have seen several at shows but, I know It has been done.....I have built many street rods, so I know what I am getting into....I could go it alone, but I though I would ask around before buying a bunch of parts...the tractor will bee used too pull wagons and shows...I did this years ago using a pinto in a H = more speed getting wagons to and from the barn.....

I built a Farmall M with a 440 mopar and a 727 automatic hooked into the farmall's five speed. one of the main things when putting that much power in a farmall M is that you need some good brakes. get ride of the band brakes and set it up for disc brakes. other wise when are under a hard pull and you want to keep it going straight down the track the bands can lock up at times which can cause alot of trouble.
