I finnaly got my pTO fixed and bolted the unit back on. I see where I can add the gear oil on the top of the right angle pto case. But, I have been unable to see where the plug is to let me know when I am full. Is the transmition and the differential sharing the gear oil?

Thanks

Yes the fluid comes from the trans the oil slinger gear throws it up and the is a channel in the trans case that drains into the belt pulley. You by taking off the unit and have cleaned it up have cleared up this passage as lots of them have gotten all plugged up over the years. By the way DAVE do you want a mounted plow for your A. How are the grapes doing. gene b

Gene,

I just bought a "Parts tractor yesterday and located another the has a nice mounted plow on it. Between the two, I should be able to put together one good tractor.

The grapes are doing real well this year and I should have my first harvest this august. Hoping to get around 8 tons. Not bad for a hobby farm.

How you doing, still collect a stable full of A's and B's... :)
