Has anyone disassembled and reassembled the hydraulic reservoir on the Stage 2 Super H, etc? The high pressure tube fits into holes in the front of the reservoir and the valve body cover. At the same time the inner lever that attaches to the outside control lever must fit into a slot in the cam/piston lever in order to activate the hydraulics. All of this is inside the reservoir. Since the back plate is bolted to the valve body it is impossible to see anything while assembling and it has to be done by feel. I don't have a factory hydraulic manual, but the IT manual says to "be sure the high pressure tube is in position and tip the back plate to engage the cam lever with the inner control valve." I can position the high pressure tube but can't seem to get the cam lever into the slot. Any suggestions from someone who has done this? Thanks in advance.

Not tryen to be smart arss but it is one of them things that ya just have to play with to get the feel for it , the first time that i did one i thought that i had done the big OOOppppssss in taking it apart and did a lot of four letter words till all of a sudden it sorta just fell together and to my supprise it worked . So i guess that ya just have to have your toung and mouth just in the wright spot and also it helps to have the lever pulled back.

That's mostly what I thought, but you never know when someone might have an idea. I have the lever back against the stop, but it moves only about a half inch back, but just flops all the way forward -- has spring tension when I pull it back, but I think I have the lever under the slot, not in it. When I bought the tractor, I did not have anything to hook to the hydraulics, should have pulled a cylinder off another tractor, so I don't know what the hyd are supposed to "feel" like. Tractor is totally stripped of everything in preparation for painting, so I can't test it with the tractor running.
