Hi to anyone who can help me, I was looking to put a chrome pipe on my tractor and I was looking for a place to get it. Does anyone know where I could get one for my Farmall H? I have talked to Steve Crum from Crum Equipment and his prices seem reasonable i just might want to check from someone else. Also has anyone used Crum Equip. exhaust before? Is it quality work he does?
Thanks to anyone who could help!!

Thanks

Rusty, we can make them for your "H", we have made about 10, and while we were out at RPRU, we were asked to make a couple more for some other guy, we usually get between $60-$70 , depending on how long, and which size pipe you want, we usually use 4" turn outs, but no matter what we do to keep air flow through it seems to turn golden at the turnout, so possibly might start using straights...-Scoob

Hi thanks for that scooby, and i was thinking if you put a second liner into the pipe it wouldnt turn brown. But from what I have seen aroud here at shows the ones with the curve at the end always turn brown. Do you make them to just fit over the pipe that comes out of the manifold so I could put a clamp on there so I dont have an exhaust leak? Also how much would you charge me to do a chrome pipe with double lined 4inches in diameter and 30 inches long and just a 45 degree angle at the end not a curve? How much would you charge me to ship the pipe? Also I have a buddy that has a JD 720 do you make a pipe for that tractor? Thanks Scooby!!!

Thanks RustyWallace2

My local IH dealer ordered one in for my 1206 and the price seemed fair.

One thing thing to think about though when putting it on a H, I think you will need to run a normal pipe (the right size-fits tight to the manifold) and put a larger chrome one over the top of it. The air gap between them keeps the heat away from the chrome, otherwise it turns brown in no time. I learned the hard way, my Super M burnt my chrome pipe in a few times of running. Stainless pipes do the same thing. I went back to a black pipe.

Hope this helps.

He makes stainless rather than chrome pipes, and mostly for JD's. But I hear the work is really good.
