I've got a 350 farmall that i've had for a few years, it has a schwartz loader on it and power steering. After I would use the tractor a while the loader would quit working and so would the power steering. When the tractor cooled then the loader would work for a while again. Also as time went on, the loader quit lifting as high and before I knew it, it would only lift a foot off of the ground. I also noticed that the hydraulic fluid for the loader was milky, so I drained all the fluid and filled it with new fluid. the loader wouldn't work at all, but when I ran the tractor, a pinkish fluid would drip from the belly of the tractor near thr torque amp. area. After removing a small cover in this area near the torque about a quart of this pinkish fluid ran out and then the loader worked fine, but when I run the tractor more fluid runs out. The torque is out in this tractor, but was that way when I bought it, I've just been using it in high range. I hope that i've given enough info for you to help me because I really enjoy using this tractor but am afraid of wrecking something by running it this way. thank you very much for any help.

In the 350, the hydraulic system is separate from the tranny (but the same Hy-Tran or equiv. fluid is used in both). Are you sure the dripping fluid isn't running down from a higher point on the right side of the tractor? There are unions in the lines under the right side hood that may need to be tightened (you'll have to take the exhaust stack off to remove the right side hood). If the lines aren't leaking, then tranny fluid is leaking through a bad seal.

Also, when you change the hydraulic fluid, do you also inspect and clean if necessary the screen (held by four bolts near the brake pedal)?

The exhaust is on the right if you have a diesel, that is.
