Lowell - That's a tough job to do solo! If possible I utilize the services of my 25 year old son for stuff like that. However I've installed/removed them several times on my SH and SM (wheels set dish facing out) by myself. Here's how I do it: 1 - Put on your steel-toed boots, then park your tractor on soft grass and (safety first!) Stop the tractor so one of the weight mounting holes in the wheel is at 12 o'clock. 2 - Roll the weight next to the tire and orient the weight so the two flat edges in the weight's center opening are at the top and bottom. Now lift the weight and set it temporarily on the axle. 3 - Take one of the weight mounting bolts and insert it thru the top bolt hole in the weight. Then jam a soft wood chip, piece of foam packing or similar between the bolt and the hole in the weight to temporarily hold the bolt in the hole (to keep the bolt from getting pushed out in the next step) 4 - Now comes the hard part! Hike the weight up off the axle, align the bolt with the hole in the wheel, then slide it in to the wheel as far as you can. If you do it right and don't push the bolt out, there will now be enough thread showing on the backside of the wheel to catch a nut. But don't tighten the nut yet... 5 - Rock the weight back and forth as required to align the wheel and weight holes, then insert the other 3 bolts. 6 - Finally thread the other nuts on and tighten them all down. (Don't know if this is "correct" but I use lockwashers under the bolts) Since your wheels are set dish facing in, mounting the weights may be easier. May be able to get them into position by lifting with a loader, come along, etc. and avoid the manual lifting like I must do. Good luck (and watch your back!)
