Today I changed the oil in my Super A, and greased all the fittings, checked gear levels, etc. I have a little story, and a coulple of questions. First, the final drives. The left was as I expected, very low, I saw where oil was leaking some around the seals, so no big surprise. On the left one, the level was ok, but I'm not sure what was in there. It was black, and didn't smell like gear oil, really not much smell at all. Do any of you think some rocket scientist put burned motor oil in the there? That is what it looks like, but doesn't smell like it, maybe it's been in there for a long time. Correct me if I'm wrong, shouldn't 80-90 be in the final drives? Do you think I should go get a gasket, and take the covers off and get this stuff out and start over with all fresh oil? Second somewhat unrelated question, what type of oil should I be putting in the hydraulic pump?As Always thanks for all the help, Kevin
