The MIAPA show just 8 miles west of Marshalltown had over 200 tractors as of 8:30 PM Thursday. Over half are the right color but most every brand has at least one represenitive. My rig made it there bout 6:15 last night and that raised the corn picker count to 5. No 50 series at that time but the show really doesn't start till today. Last time we hosted IH we had a 70 series, major cool. Gotta work today but will be there most of tomarrow and Sunday. kev

Is the 70 series at the show again this year? How many later series tractors are there (06,56,66,86,88 series)?

Thanks!

I made the 200 mile round trip to Marshall County for Frday (have to reroof the Legion Saturday) at least a dozen more reds showed while I toured the grounds. One problem? the show had this year was an overabundance of great oats to thresh. They will have to work long hours at more than one machine to get them all run through by Sunday night. Good show tresh/sheller/baler/horse powered/steam/plow/saw mill/balancebeam/blacksmith - only one new/used parts vender plus a manual/phamptlet seller. Dick Davis
