Cash: I could look it up for you but I think you can do that. On the left of your screen under Research & Info click on serial numbers, then Farmall and finally 300. You will have on screen the beginning serial for each years production. For this purpose don't worry about the letters in serial number. The letters do indicate options that were on tractor when new. In your manual there will be instructions on clutch and TA adjustments, pay close attention to these. Very good old tractor was the 300, a bit hungry on gas, very good starter, My dad bought one new and 35 years later I still had it. It was the main source of power on our farm for close to 10 years. 300 were the main source of power on a lot of farms for 10 years. As for value hard to say, you don't see a lot of them for sale, but in good running condition probably 2,000-3,000. They sold new in 1955 for 3,100. so as vehicles go not a bad investment.
