Can anybody tell me what the height is from the ground to the top of the muffler? Thinking of buying an H but first question is, will it fit in the garage?

Any input is much appreciated,

Thanks,

Just went out and measured mine. Approx. 92" to top of muffler. I have to remove muffler to get in and out. Not a big deal for me now but as I get older the ducking at the door will be near impossible. I have a standard 7' door.

My little C just barely fits under with a standard muffler on it. It has less than 1/2" of clearance. You need to be awake just to be sure that you remember to duck at the right time. The H sits a little taller than the C.

It will easily go through an 8 ft. high door, 7ft. will not work.

With standard tires, the H is 74 inches to the top of the steering wheel, so you have to scrunch down pretty good even with the muffler off.

No it will not fit in a standard garage with the muffler on. but the muffler is very easy to remove and put back on as it does not need clamps to stay in place. you will need to duck when pulling in and out with the H. it is kind of a pain to have to duck all the time and pull on and off the exauste, but you might just find that you like the sound of the motor with the muffler off, i know i like that sound better. but i cant work with out the muffler onafter a day on her with the muffler on i cant hear realy good. LOL

It depends on the tires. If it is too tall you can always cut down the exhaust stack.
