What loaders will fit a Farmall 706?

I have a gas Farmall 706 and would like to find a front loader for it. How do I know which front loader models will fit? Is there a list available anywhere of compatible ones? Is there an "original" loader I should look for? If not, what ones fit easily? I don't mind if I don't keep the 706 completely original as this is a work tractor, not a show tractor.

Thanks. Matt.

Westendorf TA-26 or IH 2250 with proper mounting brackets would be great loaders for a 706. Mouth are quick tach and only take a few minutes to put on and off. We has a IH 2350 on a 766 and now have a TA-26 on a 666 both are good loaders.

I have a Du-Al 320 loader on my 806. I think it would fit your 706 as well. It is a very stout loader.

A model IH 2000, 2050 [I think], 2250 and a 2250 mount-a-matic with the right mounting brackets are the loaders from that time frame, that will fit that tractor. There may be more models that I am not aware of. The 2250 mount-a-matic loader from IH would be my choice. We had a 584 with a mount-a matic, This is a loader that is very easy to put on and take off, [less than two minutes]. The tractor its self was not much count [poor design] but the loader was very good. There are other loader manufactures out there such as Great Bend, Bush Hog [and I was told that Bush Hog had bought out Great Bend], Quickie, Westrendorff and other manufactures that will have a loader for it also. We have a Great Bend on a New Holland TS 1104x4 and works very good. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help everyone. That really helps me know what I should begin looking for. Now finding a loader in the North-East might be the hardest part for me. At least I know what to look for now. Thanks again, you all are awesome.

It sounds like the round hard steel pan seat that this guy has been setting on all of this time has warped his cold a$$..... unless he has a GOOD reason for making this kind of statement on this forum, he does not need to reply or participate in this discussion in the future. This is one of the best forums that I have seen, bar none. I think all of us that use it, really appreciate. There is so much knowlege out there from the participants and is free for the asking We need to keep this kind of bull sh!t off of it. thanks!
