Howdy all!
Found the leak in the hydraulics at the box. A huge bolt underneath was so loose you could turn it by hand. Since I had to take the box off to get to the bolt, decided to replace the seals, too. The last person who messed with it put silicone around the seals (as in caulking). UGH!
No more leaks!!!!! Well, the front cylinders drip some. Not too bad though. But this leak was a stream when trying to use the fast hitch.
Mowed my east field with ease. What a deal!!!
Plus, sold the parts tractor for a set of nice fenders for the good tractor (I'm putting them on tomorrow, Hugh) plus I got 200 bucks. I figure I got the running tractor (IH350D) for 1500.00!!!!

I was always considered a "wanna-be" farmer...today I consider myself a full fledged farmer after mowing the field. Got off of it and my knees were shaking. 3rd gear was more than fast enough. Proud of myself, though. Keep writing. Love the reading. Learning a lot from you guys.
Thanks, Diana

Diana: Good show, I will not argue with the full fledged farmer idea. I never questioned you were going to do it. Now if you just get those fenders on tractor. On that 350 your sitting right down in between those wheels. Awfully nice to be able to grab those fenders especially mowing in 3rd gear.
