I have just bought this tractor and the data plate is gone. I am trying to find out if the engine block that is in the tractor is the original block. The plate that is screwed onto the side of the block has the following numbers on it: 1130-1. Also stamped on the side of the block in raised letters are: 6722-DC with a 2 below these numbers; and on the right front corner are engraved: BK-7262. Can anybody help me out here? Thanks for any info you can give me.

the 11 30 I shows that the block was cast on 11-30-39. your number bk 7262 should be fbk 7262 if you scratch around on it a little more. this makes your tractor a very early '40 model. they used the early style seat up to #9286.

"H" engine & serial numbers matched; "M" numbers did not.

The serial number will be stanped just below the no. 1 spark plug. That is the first one behined the radiator. also it might be on the frame rail on the right side front
