I'm in the middle of restoreing my H and want to give my tractor more H.P. I was woundering if I could stick the Super H pistons in my H without changing anything but the pistons? If not what is the biggest size piston that I can put in an H tractor, useing sleeve's.

If you are going to go through the trouble of pulling the sleeves and you want some horsepower, go ahead and bore the block out to take farmall 350 pistons and sleeves and everything else in the engine will work with it. H bore is 3.375 and a 350 bore is 3.562. No other work will have to be done. Alot of guys run this combo.

You are going to have to match the sleeves with the piston. I am guessing that it may be like the C/Super C. The super C sleeves fit in the block of my C without having to bore it out. The best thing would be to check the external measurements of the original H sleeves and compare them against the Super H sleeves. You will need to make sure that the head gasket matches the bore of the sleeves.

Either but a set of FIRECRATER 350 sleeves and pistons, or pull the sleeves and run 3 13/16" pistons out of an 806

What needs to be done to the block to do this? Just finish hone it? Or does it need a slight bore?

I'm not for sure if you bore it or not. I know that you can't go any bigger than that without using HARDBLOCK. Talk to ChadS in the pulling forum. He really knows how to make an IH run. I can find out if you wish weather it gets bored or not...Andy
